I recently switched ownership to worse off teams in both leagues, but will return to a competitive level in season or two. I have always believed in activity breeds activity and that starts at the top. In this league with beer and jouameng, this is very true, both are active which makes the league more active. It is great to be in another league with beercloud's leadership.

Freakin miracle what you did in Denver and now look at that team poised to be the team to beat next season..you set em up gouda...............MM

Ghost idk how you do it...yer awesome ..yeah we were division mates in 35. long ago....with ole jsid where I learn'd my licks..I am really proud of what I accomplished in KC .."not ruling out a move in the coming years'..bring back a challenged team is this league is tough..it will involve lots of trades and " I suck at trading, i trust no one"

The loss in the big game was tough..Honestly, I never in my wildest dreams thought we could get that far. The coach believed, the team believed, I thought I was getting fired.

Now I'm managing two teams..named the GMOTY. bottom line you can do it!

Thank you, I wish the owner that followed when I left the Rams would have been better. That team was ready to go. The plan is to stay with Jacksonville for a while. They are close to being a playoff team. You did an awesome job with Kansas City last *season very impressive.[/quote}

Thanks GG but in all honesty the Chiefs had much better teams that sat at home riding the pines and making popcorn. I'm proud of our team You have been in that division and you know first hand it's not for the faint of heart. Wolveraider an jgcruz come to play every flippin game!! bronco/nuggs is building a killa and he will be even tougher this year. Helll, I might pick him ! LOLn

We will see what comes of the B league. I'm just here for a coupla seasons to set up a winner for the newer players..Hope they can ease in and It won't be so rough on them. I think it will make competition in Paydirt better and hopefully we can retain more GM's....searchin the FA and trade block tonight to see if I can find that one suprise player that will make a difference....MM

Whew this is gonna be a long season I think. Got so many young players and not any better free agents. 7 interceptions for my rookie quarterback and dont even have a ground game to lean on.

Good Game Copperheads week 1 and Good Game Shipmen week 2!

By the way, if anyone has any questions or looking for advice absolutely feel free to post them on the forums or private message myself, Beercloud, or greyghost. There are also tons of owners with experience in this league that I'm sure will be glad to give some tips or suggestions to help your team improve! While this is meant to be a competitive league, it's also one in which you should feel free to ask questions!

I would definitely look into switching FB Mitchell into a WR/RB and use him as your starting RB. He's averaging a monstrous 7.7 YPC, granted it's only 6 carries he's had. You might also want to hit the Free Agent Market/Trade Block to find a starter for this year while Freeman develops. A name I'd keep an eye on is current FA QB David McGarry. While he's far from perfect, his accuracy is developed enough that it should be enough to help any team desperate at the QB position this season. I personally wouldn't start any QB, no matter other attributes, that has less than a 60 pass accuracy.

The real question is even if I found a couple decent starters for this year is is there any point? Is my team good enough to make any noise this year? Or should I be investing more experience in my younger guys and learning the playbook and everything for next year? I will look into the position swap for sure though. Thanks my dude

I think I actually moved him to full back because of his total lack of receiving skills lol

Yeah, I think that's the struggle with a ton of teams. Teams generally have holes in so many different positions coming out of the allocation draft and it takes a few seasons before a team can actually put it all together. It's hard to determine if the first year is worth going for it all or maybe just seeing what you have in your team and willing to just improve on it in the offseason. The sad thing is after the first season, generally the only way to improve your team is through the Draft as most players still have a year left on their deals.

GG Windjammers/ Robert123. You put up a good fight and your offense was doing ok. Not having a kicker and punter in place Hurt you bad. we had great field position as a result. I would make a K and P first priority. Good luck the rest of the way............MM
